West Cobb Dogs
Retirement Dogs
At West Cobb Dogs, our dogs are family. We raise each one completely in our home with love and care and when their breeding career is complete, usually around 4–5 years of age, we joyfully retire them into forever homes, where they can soak up years of undivided attention. Our retired dogs are healthy, well-mannered, crate trained, and accustomed to family life, including children and other pets. Retiring them is about giving one of our beloved dogs the gift of a second chapter filled with love, adventure, and cuddles. Every adoption is handled with care, and we match each dog to the perfect family to ensure a smooth, happy transition. We also love to stay in touch with our doggies in that second chapter of life! If you are interested in talking with us about a retired dog, please reach out. We'd love to meet you.

Mallory
*Mallory has a pending placement*
Mallory is a small purebred miniature poodle, registered with the AKC, who has had three litters with us. We are planning to retire her sometime in 2026 when we find the right placement. She is a lovely apricot poodle, and will thrive in a home either alone or with one other playmate. Mallory likes to be with you. She wants to be in the same room snuggled up. She is very loyal. Mallory's big secret trick is that she can CLIMB! She's so unique!

**Mallory is Scout's biological sister 100%, so one test was run for both.

Louisa
Louisa is a Cavalier King Charles and is registered with the AKC. She is one of the first dogs our family ever owned, and she knows it. She is a strong "velcro dog" and would be happiest just laying on your bed with you. We could see her with a devoted owner who enjoys a slower pace and plenty of quality time. She has loved our oldest daughter almost exclusively and nothing pleased her more than cuddling while reading a book. She is very affectionate when she feels comfortable with you. She is crate trained and house trained as well. Louisa is an alert barker, but she doesn't bark incessantly. This quality might temper in an "only dog" home. She loves a good treat, and has been an exceptional mother. We will miss her very much.
Louisa is set to retire in late 2026-early 2027.
